HOW TO WRITE AN ESSAY

OTHERS

EXAMPLES
Come Visit "the Big Apple"

New York City is a wonderful place to visit. In fact, everyone should visit this unique city at some point in his or her life! Even though there are more than eight million people here, don’t worry. New Yorkers like tourists.

New York City is a huge city made up of five boroughs: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, the Bronx and Queens. The subway system connects the boroughs and makes it easy to get around. It’s open 24 hours a day and runs throughout the five boroughs.

There are many things tourists can do in New York City. Often, tourists spend a lot of time visiting Manhattan. They climb to the top of tall buildings, such as the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building, to see the views of the city. From 100 stories above the ground, the people and the cars on the street look like ants moving in every direction. Many of the buildings are old, and each has a story to tell.

Tourists can explore the city’s many different neighborhoods and parks. They can eat in restaurants that serve food from around the world. They can visit stores and buy anything from a postcard to a car. New York City, also called “the Big Apple,” is a city full of history and people. Come for a visit, and see for yourself.

My daughter

To start with, Mary is my daughter, she's sixteen years old. Although, she studies at the highschool, she's sometimes a good-for-nothing.

As for her appearance and personality, she's tall and has short blonde hair and green eyes. She needs to wear glasses, as well.

On the one hand, she's very intelligent and very creative. On the other hand, she's a bit shy and quiet.

Moreover, she loves drawing comics and making her own videos with special effects. She's keen on reading books and writing short stories, too. She usually plays games. In fact, I think she plays too much time.

We get on well with each other and we have a lot of things in common. We fancy walking through mountains with our dogs and playing boardgames.

To sum up, I love her a lot. She's a fantastic daughter and I wouldn't know what to do without her.

To start with, for people to spend a nice time at the beach, some preventive measures should be taken by them and their family in order to be safe and protected.

Apart from driving carefully in case of not living at the beach, people should always carry some convenient things such as; high protection sun cream, head protection, appropriate clothing and footwear, energy bars, some fruit and water or other proper drinks.

According to experts, the warning flags must be respected and it’s also necessary to learn to respect other people and keep an eye on children at all times, as well.

On the one hand, people should sunbathe within a few hours in which the sun is less harmful. The best time to do it is early morning until before noon or after 6 pm. Sunbathing either at a different time or for a long time or without regard for temperature changes after meals could lead to heat stroke, burn injuries, digestion cuts, dehydration and even death.

On the other hand, people ought not to swim with rough water or undertow. It is said that people should remain calm, try to warn anyone to be rescued and swim softly on the left toward the shore in any of these situations. This is an important tip from adepts; 'Don’t get nervous, otherwise, you get exhausted sooner and die before being rescued'.

Regarding the statistics, most of deaths occur every summer owing to people being not sensitive to the risks.

During an open day conference of the Red Cross which was celebrated last year, the rapporteur reported to the audience that people should at least have one first aid or hazard prevention course made.

To conclude, if many people had taken some precautions, complied with warning flags and other advisories, lots of accidents and deaths could have been avoided.
